"Hunter Mode:
This multiplayer game mode is all about the survival of the fittest. There are two teams, initially comprised of two permanently cloaked “Hunters”, and up to fourteen CELL troopers awaiting extraction. Each trooper slain respawns on the Hunter team to prey on their former allies, building to a frenetic climax. If any of the troopers survive the round, the hunters lose. Whichever way you play, Hunter Mode delivers a heart-pounding test of strategy and survival.
Crash Site Mode:

Winulator, the application which runs x86 games on ARM

Posted by cnetwork On Thursday, November 29, 2012 0 comments
Winulator project aims the creation of an emulator application that lets you run games developed for Windows in x86 on any ARM device. The developer has already managed to port a x86 DirectX 7 game on Android.
Basically, the game developers don't agree any application that allows porting the game on a platform other than that for which it was originally written.
The first game successfully tested in Winulator is Caesar III, released in 1999. The game code has undergone
through a conversion to run on ARM devices, but for full functionality is required an adaptation of the controls for a touch screen.
If it doesn't have the agreement of the game developers, the application could have a very short life in Google Play or App Store.

The sales, which are the largest in the history of the Halo series would have been even more impressive if the game could been available on PCs.
Unfortunately,  Microsoft has decided that the title will remain available only on Xbox 360.
Whatever the commercial strategy of Microsoft is , it seems that the company will be able to achieve the target set for the first week of release, sales of $ 300 million.

Carmageddon has been released on the App Store

Posted by cnetwork On Thursday, October 18, 2012 0 comments
15 year ago, the launch of the Carmageddon game triggered a scandal, the game was enjoyable finishing the race by eliminating opponents car and getting money for improvements by trampling pedestrians under the wheels. But times have changed and the level of tolerance has been increased, so Carmageddon could possibly cause just smiles instead of anger.
After a Kickstarter campaign that raised $ 650,000, the manufacturer of the original title, Stainless Games, has bought back the copyright and completed its porting on the iOS platform, the game can be found from yesterday on the App Store.
Carmageddon is not a remake of the original title, but a port, so the design is outdated and may disappoint fans of Asphalt 7 or RealRacing 2.
Launched on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch and requiring iOS 5.1 or higher, Carmageddon will be availableon  Android terminals at the end of this year or early next year.
